"Ras Kass is currently in the custody of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department awaiting extradition back to California. The rapper, who was taken into custody during the Memorial Day weekend, has been a fugitive since January when he failed to turn himself in to serve a nine-month sentence for his third DUI conviction. As a result, Ras Kass may face additional time once he's extradited to California. While on the run, Ras Kass launched a campaign to gain his release from his label, Priority Records, which included an on-line petition and T-shirts. The rapper recorded two sets for the label: Van Gogh and Golden Chyld. However, Van Gogh was shelved permanently due to bootlegging and legal challenges and Golden Chyld has been pushed back indefinitely."
