Ol' Dirty Bastard's Range Rover stolen

The saga of setbacks that has recently come to define the life of Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard continued last week when his new Range Rover was stolen from outside a Manhattan, N.Y., recording studio, according to ODB tour manager Jeremy Larner. The reported theft comes on the heels of a June 30 robbery in Brooklyn, N.Y., during which the rapper was shot, and a July 4 incident in Virginia in which ODB himself is accused of shoplifting a pair of sneakers. On Tuesday (July 21), ODB attorney Peter Frankel said that car thieves had apparently stolen the rapper's sport utility vehicle, although he had no further comment on the reported incident. New York police could not corroborate the crime nor offer details by press time.
