Missy Elliott cancels tour due to her bus

The Hip Hop Don't Stop tour featuring Missy Elliot, Kelis and Talib Kweli has now been cancelled. The European dates in Sweden (June 18), the United Kingdom (June 19-24), and Belgium (June 28) have been cancelled due to various production issues. First, there has been a delay in getting Missy Elliot's set and equipment from her most recent show in New Zealand to the start of the European tour in Sweden. Second, due to the unusual number of artists presently touring Europe, there are not adequate buses for Missy and her touring entourage. Missy Elliott is disappointed that she will not able to perform in these cities and looks forward to coming back and performing for her fans in the future.
We are pleased to confirm that Missy Elliott's performances in Amsterdam on June 26 and Paris on June 27 are still confirmed. We have been able to work out a special set for these particular festivals that we believe the fans will truly enjoy.
