"Bling, Bling? For those who are infatuated with glittering neck pieces and the ultra-expensive jewelry some artist's rock ad naesum, then the name, Jacob The Jeweler, should ring a bell as he is the jeweler who creates and supplies most hip-hop artists with their respective bling. Well, word is, Jacob has been losing a lot of business within the hip-hop community lately and it all stems from a recent purchase made by none other then Nas and the $50K diamond engagement ring he picked out for Kelis. Yet, after the rightfully doting songstress proudly displayed the ring for some friends, one of Kelis' girlfriends embarrassingly doubted the rings clarity and worth. To make a long story short, Nas then went and had the ring checked and was told the rings worth was estimated at $7K. This in turn sent other artists scurrying to the diamond district to get the shine checked, and most were delivered with news that goes far beyond getting shafted. To boot, word is that Jacob has been less then obliging in rectifying these disputes."
