Politically savvy and often controversial rapper Kam is preparing a new LP and has chosen September 11, 2002 as the release date. The former Ice Cube protege dropped his debut full length back in '93 and will release the forthcoming Self on his own Hereafter Records.
Through his publicist, Kam said the following to SOHH about his release date decision. "We heard the media and the propaganda machines' view on September 11th, it's time to hear from the Brothers and Sisters from the hood, and that's what my CD is to deliver, the voice from the streets."
In related news, guerilla rap stalwart Paris will join Kam next spring for the Add It Up Amerikkka Tour sparked by the constant downplay of reparations for African-Americans.
