KAM Takes it to Hollywood

SOURCE NOT STATED IN THE POST

Kam, Rap Artist, has taken it to Hollywood starring in his new upcoming movie DEMONS ON CANVAS. This is set to be released Fall 2002.

Demons On Canvas is a dark urban drama that follows a heroin addict which is played by Kam. Nesta who is an artist, looks for sanctuary from his personal demons by putting them on canvas, but in the end there is no escape.

Demons on Canvas is said to be one of the most accurate stories of how drugs effects the Black artists. Kam chose this role because of his great appreciation of Gil Scott Heron and realized he had similar battles within his own life. Kam reveals, "I was inspired by Gil Scott Heron, and the life of a Black artist is straight up misunderstood, and seldom respected and appreciated, that is why many of them try to escape. Many folks that have so many ideas, simply cannot take it and seek an escape. If I was not in the NOI, I would probably seek that same type of outlet. This movie shows how we as artist try to get all of our demons out on canvas, or in some art form."
