Snoop to Attend Anti-Execution Rally

In a rare visit back to California, Snoop will attend a rally this Saturday outside San Quentin State Prison to protest the December 13, 2005 execution of Crips co-founder Stanley Tookie Williams.

In 1981, Williams was sentenced to death for killing four people in two Los Angeles robberies. But while on California's death row, Williams (now 43) earned international acclaim for writing children's books urging kids to stay out of gangs, among other peace-teaching efforts. These writings garnered Williams several Nobel Peace Prize nominations.
