Together with San Francisco-based Mixman Technologies, Inc., CDNOW is also offering Missy Elliott fans a special opportunity to create their own remixes of Missy Elliott's new single "Beat Biters," from her acclaimed new album Da Real World. Elliott's groundbreaking Elektra debut album, 1997�s Supa Dupa Fly, premiered at number three on Billboard's Top Album chart. Fans will go to the Mixman site to download a remix-able version of "Beat Biters," and then remix the song offline using Mixman Studio software. Remixes submitted to Mixman.com via "Radio Mixman",� an interactive web-based radio station, will be judged by Missy Elliott and/or A&R representatives. The winning remix will be posted on the official Missy Elliott site http://www.missy-elliott.com Runners up will receive Missy Elliott gift packs. No previous remixing or music experience is required to remix the Missy Elliott song. Missy Elliott is on Elektra Records, which is distributed by WEA.
