Since 1970, the number of Americans behind bars has increased by more than 500%. The bulk of the newly incarcerated are young people of color (age: 15-30) from urban neighborhoods who have been convicted of non- violent drug offenses. Is the growth of prisons the solution or are we continuing a war without terms or solutions?

This week, join net-radio program Sexto Sol this Sunday, March 12, when we talk with Kate Rhee of the Prison Moratorium Project on incarceration and solutions. Rhee will discuss the Project and its goals as well as its benefit CD "No More Prisons," due out March 14.
