Schedule of Activities, Concert Line-up, and Agenda for International Hiphop Peace Conference to be officially announced.
Let us not stand around helpless as other kultures define, demean, and disrespect our great Hiphop Kulture. Those that can see the vision of a legitimate Hiphop Temple that uplifts and advances inner city youth, must not hesitate in celebrating the 4th Annual Hiphop Appreciation Week (May 14 - 21, 2001) TM
WHAT:
Press Conference for the 4th Annual Hiphop Appreciation Week (May 14 - 21, 2001) TM .
WHO:
The Temple of Hiphop Kulture is an official organization and preservation society founded by The Teacha, KRS-ONE, dedicated to the documentation of Hiphop Kulture.
WHEN:
Tuesday, February 20, 2001 at SOBs, 204 Varick Street @ West Houston, New York City. The event will begin promptly at 1:00pm ending at 4:00pm.
WHY:
On May 14th - 21st, 2001, Hiphoppas will not just be celebrating, conscious Rap music, we will also be celebrating the productive images of Hiphop Kulture. Hiphop Appreciation Week (May 14 - 21, 2001) TM is a time when true+Hiphoppas+kulturally join together to unify, strengthen and give back to a culture that some heads in the industry only wish to take from. We are reaching out to all serious members of Hiphop Kulture to attend this press conference as we continue the never-ending struggle of legitimizing Hiphop Kulture.
The agenda of this press conference will include the official announcement of the activities and concert line-up for Hiphop Appreciation Week (May 14-21, 2001) TM, including the delegates for the International Hiphop Peace Conference (IHPC) 2001. Unlike previous summit meetings, the IHPC 2001 promises to be a spiritual, and solemn closed-door discussion of the state of Hiphop Kulture.
