Neighbours character feeling uk hip-hop

TEE MAX AND FUSION STATE NEWSLETTER

Word from Big Dada Towers is that a character in the Australian soap 'Neighbours', proclaimed that the UK's rap scene is better than our American cousin's. In a scene which is yet to be aired in the UK, one of the characters from the long running Aussie soap goes through some new CDs she has just bought and turns to another actor proclaiming, "English hip hop is better than American hip hop", and then says, "Check this out", pulling from a bag a copy of TY's Mercury Prize nominated ' and Roots Manuva's latest offering ‘Awfully Deep’. How's that for a mainstream endorsement! The episode in question should be aired in the UK within the next two months.
