Kokane and Down form Down By Law Entertainment

Guess who's back... Yup, that's right, we got some further exclusive news to lace ya'll up with! The funkiest man on the coast aka Kokane just filled me in on some real real good shit! The Black & the Brown (that's black people and mexicans for the slow ones ;) ) are united finally! It's about peace in the streets, and this is why this is so big. Ya'll probably remember Down from his debut solo album called "California Cowboys", where the creme de la creme of the West Coast appeared on. Well this is the man we're talkin' about! Kokane and Down have come together and formed Down By Law Entertainment, and the first release of the label will be... Kokane! That's right, ya'll remember Kokane's album we reported about a while ago? Well a few things have changed since then, so I'm about to put ya'll up to date. The album is now called "It's Kokane Not Lemon-Head" and it's set to come out early 2004. The album will feature Tray Deee, Bad Azz, Kurupt, Roscoe, Ludacris, Jagged Edge, Goodie Mob amongst others, with production by Battlecat, Fredwreck, Chag G & J Wells.

I know ya'll hella curious about The 2K's album too, which is Kurupt & Kokane. Well, the album now has a name! "Table Manners" it's called, and it should be huge! We can't disclose the label situation for the album yet, but as I already said before, it's not a Death Row release. Definitely look for some funky shit on this one, more news on it probably in our Kurupt interview!

Before I go, a few more words to Down. This cat is doing it right now, Bad Azz brought him up, and Kokane is about to take him to another level! For those who want to know more, I'll do my best to bring you further information from Down himself. Stay tuned!
