I recently got a chance to do an interview with the owner & artist from DPG Recordz, Daz Dillinger. He has went from owner of rapper and producer at Deathrow Records and left due to Deathrow not paying and screwing there rappers he has started his own label. Daz talks about his upcoming projects, his feelings toward Kurupt, Tha Row Records and Suge Knight.

Hey Daz, thanks for letting me interview you. First off, How are things going over at Dpg Recordz? What new things are going on over there?

Daz: Shit is poppin. We trying to keep things moving. Looking at a few majors right now trying to take us to the next level. The label been cleaned with some management changes. I got whoo kid as my street man and KP gonna be runnin my main shit.

Jay: What are you doing these dayz, who are you working with and who do you want to work with?

Daz: I'm working on music. With management handling most of my shit my only concern is making music. I got like 4 albums complete. I'ma record some new shit for THE BLACK PHANTOM. I'm looking to work with 50 Cent, D12, Jigga, Cam'Ron, the usual homies that's down with the pound.

Jay: Now that you are on Doggy Style Recordz, whats in store for Dpg Recordz, is it on hold?

Daz: I ain't on Doggystyle.

Jay: Who is the currect roster for DPG Recordz? When are we going to expect releases from DPG Recordz?

Daz: No one's signed to DPG Recordz. I'm focusing on my shit first. Making sure I drop successful product. Then I can give others promo from my name. We dropping Who Ride Wit Us Volume 2 in a few weeks. Then we gonna drop the gangsta shit dvd and life I lead dvd. In December we gonna come up wit a 6 song EP of me. Then next year I unleash THE BLACK PHANTOM.

Jay: Recently you and Snoop have been taking shots at Tha Row & Suge Knight, Can you tell us about this?

Daz: Ain't much to say but Fuck Suge Knight! Mothafuckaz gonna hate that We hate on Suge but they all one-sided about shit. They don't know about the behind the scenes politics where Suge fucked us. We worked hard for that fool and made a lot of money for him. Fuck Suge Knight and anyone down with him! I'm talking about them suckaz at Murder Inc, Irv Gotti and Ja Rule!

Jay: Now that Kurupt is now affiliated with Tha Row, what is your relationship with your former labelmate?

Daz: Kurupt and I are no longer speaking. Kurupt busy with his big red boyfriend and shit. I don't wanna get caught up in their anal activities that's not what I'm into. Kurupt better watch his shit. As soon as his ass get cut he gonna come running back to the DPG. We gonna let him back in? Only time will tell.

Jay: Can you & Kurupt team up and work together again?

Daz: All depends on when and where we're at, at the time.

Jay: On your website there were talks of a Crooked I & Makaveli Dillinger release? Can you tell us anything on this? A time of release?

Daz: Makaveli and Dillinger gonna drop after AFENI drop her 2pac album. Crooked I is gonna drop when suge drops his crooked I album.

Jay: Tha Row Killa project, Explain to us about this project, who is featured & when is it expected to drop?

Daz: I haven't decided when to drop this yet. Album features everyone from the Dogghouse crew. Bad Azz, Snoop, Soopafly, Tray Dee are all on it. Got some new cats on there to speaking on some shit. Album gotta be mixed still too.

Jay: We hear your in talks with a major label, and your next solo album is going to be released on the major label, what can you tell us about this?

Daz: I can let out who I'ma sign with. But a lot of peeps have shown interest. Management and I have to decide where i would do best. We'll let the world know in a few months/weeks where I'm heading.

Jay: You have your own label, working with Doggystyle records, Whats next for Daz? Where do you see your self 5 years from now?

Daz: I see myself still hustling. Still dropping albums and putting out artists. I see myself chilling at dpgrecordz.com talking smack with all tha dpg fans.

Jay: Anything else you wanna say to the fans?

Daz: Fuck Suge Knight! His candy ass only hang with faggots nowadays. Irv Gotti, Ja Rule and Sisqo. Ashanti and Charli Baltimore, plastic surgery'll help you ugly ass bitches. That long red hair ain't working Charli. You look like a cartoon character on crack on its way to hell. Ashanti look like she been giving Ja Rule dick! Fuck Death Row! Fuck Murder Inc!
