Jay-Z finally gets an apartment

According to ITV.com, Damon Dash was due to purchase a 10,000 sq ft apartment in New York's Tribeca district, which also boasts 4,000 sq ft of balconies, for $7.5 million.
However, the owner instead sold it to Jay-Z, who has been looking for somewhere to live since May, allegedly cutting out the broker representing the two stars.
Real estate company The Corcoran Group may now sue the apartment's owner, Peter Arnell, for legal fees and the 6 per cent commission which would have netted around $500,000.
Two years ago, Jay-Z was set to buy the place for $6.5 million but according to reports, Mr Arnell's neighbours complained about his alleged links to crime.
