Gunmen Open Fire Near L.A. Studio

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Gunmen opened fire outside a recording studio, killing a security guard and wounding two rappers.
About 20 people were standing outside the Echo Sound studio just after the completion of a rap recording when two gunmen began firing at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, investigators said.
``They fired without provocation,'' Officer Guillermo Campos said Monday. ``The motive is unknown.''
There were no arrests.
Dwayne Dupree, 23, was found dead in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, investigators said.
Rappers Jevon Jones and Willard Givers each were treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound and released.
