Grandmixer Q-Bert

Q-Bert of the Invisibl Scratch Piklz made hip-hop history On Feb. 17th during a taping of the hip-hop turntablist documentary "Battle Sounds." Q-Bert was knighted and bestowed the honorary title of "Grandmixer" by legendary deejay Grandmixer DST. Q-Bert and DST were later joined on stage by hip-hop notables like writer/media assassin Harry Allen and Grandmaster Roc Raida of the X-ecutioners.

Also on hand was Hip Hop writer Nelson George. Performances by the 5th Platoon, Kolabz, Steelworkers, The Allies, The 12" Assassins as well as an impromptu performance from Q-Bert and Rob Swift of the X-ecutioners made the night complete.
