Gang Starr working on new album

Gang Starr, the jazz-influenced hip-hop duo of Guru and DJ Premier, has begun work on a new album. Guru has said that only three songs have been recorded so far. The rapper is after guest appearances for the album from D'Angelo and Aaliyah and has also talked with Snoop Dogg about a possible collaboration for the album. The new Gang Starr album should be out early next year.
