B.I.G. Night Out Celebrates Life ------------------------------------------------- This year the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation (CWMF) granted several Big Heart awards to mothers whose children had contributed immensely to the musical community before their lives were cut short.
The night's honorees included the mothers of Aaliyah, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Jam Master Jay, Lost Boyz's Freaky Tah and Big L. Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, wasn't present because of a scheduling conflict and Big Pun's mother, Gail Tirado, was reportedly too ill to attend the affair.
