Exxxclusive RBX News For Ya'll!! - September 17, 2003 By : Nima He drops bomb like Hiroshima... Remember him? After a long silence following his appearances on the Doggytyle Allstars album, The Narrator aka RBX exclusively spoke to DubCnn about his situation and future projects. As announced by Snoop a while ago, RBX and E-White are teaming up to release an album by the name of Black & Blue. They are currently waiting to get the green light from Snoop to really get going with it. X said it should be out 1st quarter of 2004 if everything goes right. "The concept of the record is simple. I'm the pro black rapper, still street oriented, but righteous, with a positive message, while E-White is the blue side, straight Crip Gang GangBangin. Put the two together and you got Black & Blue.". The record will most probably not have many guests on it, maybe a hook by Nate Dogg, a drop from Warren or Snoop here and there. "I'm trying to lay down the best possible album I can. I don't really care that much for the pop charts.". No word on the production yet, "Nothing is set yet, it wouldn't be right to put out names already."

In addition to the Black & Blue record, RBX is actually about to release an underground street album called "Rip The Game Bloody". It's gonna be something for the streets, and is only gonna be available in local stores such as V.I.P. in Long Beach. It should be out there next week or the week after. "It's kinda street edge Hip-Hoppy, it's a lil underground record I did to keep my shit out there. I got my fam on there, Snoop, Daz, Soopafly, E-White, Saafir, Mikah 9 (from Freestyle Fellowship), and some homies from the hood such as Blue, Fly fly, QP, Angel Of Death". As soon as I get my hands on the album, I'll be uploading some preview tracks for everybody to listen to. Also, for people just getting into RBX, he's also about to release a Mix CD, with shit from back in the day to now, his Chronic shit, underground stuff, to his newer records. You can also catch X appearing on the new Eastsidaz album dropping in November and also on Chag G's hot soon-to-be-released "Eastside Connected" project (lookout for a gang of new info on the Eastside Connected album very soon.).
