DOTMUSIC.COM

Eminem's forthcoming album will be titled, 'The Eminem Show', dotmusic has learnt.

According to hip hop producer Dr Dre, the new long-player, expected sometime this year, will show a mature side to the Detroit rapper.

Speaking to US magazine Entertainment Weekly, Dre explained: 'It's a lot more serious this time. There's not as much playful stuff on it.'

'I'm gonna finish up his project soon," he added suggesting that' The Eminem Show' could be released as early as April.

'It's crazy,' says Dre of the new album. 'It's him being him.'

Meanwhile, filming on Eminem's movie project, '8 Mile' is said to be nearing completion, with a release date now slated for early summer.

The rapper, upon whom the film is loosely based, is currently working on the movie's soundtrack.
