Mmm hmmm that's right. The Grammy nominated singer is taking over VH1's online radio station Feb 23 at VH1.com. Her debut album, On How Life Is, has been certified platinum. Macy will be online from Wednesday 2:00pm (New York time) to play DJ on VH1 at Work Internet radio and to spin the hits and discuss the music that influenced her.
Macy Gray has been nominated for "Best R&B Female Vocal Performance" for her hit "Do Something" and "Best New Artist" at the 42nd Grammy Awards. Macy will perform on "BET Live" on February 24 and on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on February 25. She has also been nominated for "Best R&B/Soul Album Female " at the 14th Annual Soul Train Music Awards, which will be held on March 14 in Los Angeles, California at the Shrine Auditorium.
Dang, she is really blowing up, ain't she? Macy Gray is also features in the new line of Calvn Klien adds and is currently on tour with DJ's Kilu and Phyz Ed. Both DJs have been part of the LA underground scene and the Project Blowed collective.
