Diddy to Release PSAs

SOURCE NOT STATED IN THE POST

P. Diddy's Citizen Change has announced that a new slate of PSAs directed by acclaimed filmmaker Joel Schumacher will launch on MTV. These PSAs, featuring P. Diddy, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Tony Hawk, Jadakiss, Hilary Duff, Yoko Ono and more will target young and minority voters and highlight the importance of the upcoming presidential campaign. Originally conceived by P. Diddy, Schumacher, and MTV, the new slate of PSAs will premiere on MTV, Tuesday, 9/21 and run through Election Day.

"For the very first time, these PSAs are about young people speaking to young people," said Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, founder of Citizen Change. "They speak directly to the issues that affect them and make voting relevant to their daily lives. Over the next 6 weeks, Citizen Change will be blanketing the entire nation with our Vote or Die! message and engaging the Forgotten Ones, young and minority voters to get more educated and more involved in this year's presidential election than ever before. The election is neck and neck, Bush and Kerry would be smart to start paying attention to our vote. The Forgotten Ones will determine the next president of the United States."

In the PSAs, the artists were given free reign to speak their minds on the state of the country and why they feel this year is crucial. The urgency of the PSAs will be noted as they interrupt regularly scheduled programming. The PSAs will be made available for air on all other broadcast and cable networks.
