CANIBUS ARRESTED OVER LL COOL J DRIVE BY SHOOTING

The rapper Canibus has been arrested by police following alleged connections with the murderers of veteran rap star LL Cool J. It is thought Cool J was shot by a hired hitman, and the attack was planned months before it was carried out. Police busted into the rappers' home in the early hours of this morning, and arrested Canibus on the spot. Canibus' producer Wyclef Jean of Refugee Camp Entertainment, declined to make a comment when questioned, although a spokesman for Canibus dispelled the rumours that Lauryn Hill had also been shot in a similar attack. "Lauryn has not been involved in any shooting of any kind, and is currently alive and well, and on tour with Pras and the Refugee Navy Seals". He also denied rumours of Canibus' involvement with the the death of James Smith. This is the latest in a string of troubles with Refugee Camp Entertainment, a division of Ruffhouse Records Inc. Previously, top Haitian producer, rapper and reggae singer Wyclef Jean, was swamped by rumours of pulling a gun on the editor of Vibe magazine, following an interview article. No shots were fired, and Wyclef refused to make comment. Both rappers had previously been involved in lyrical skirmishes with Cool J following Canibus' appearance on Cool J's track "4,3,2,1". Police have made no connections between Wyclef Jean, and the killers of LL Cool J. Top FBI scientists are examining the three bullets removed from James Smith's left shoulder, head and chest. Police are still investigating, and the case continues.
