"The crowd was well behaved and supportive; well other than when it was announced that Funkmaster Flex won the award for the best website dedicate to the art of Turntablelism/DJing, and boos instead of applause drained the club. Grandmaster Flash was one of the presenters of the award and he defended Flex by acknowledging the impact Flex has had, and continues to have, on Hip Hop."
