GOLDEN ERA

Russell Simmons to launch Oneworld Music Beat

SOURCE NOT STATED IN THE POST

Hip-hop's multimillionaire impresario Russell Simmons has decided to enter the late-night television arena. With the cancellation of VIBE, Keenen and The Magic Hour, no one has been able to capture the young urban/progressive suburban late-night audience once held by Arsenio Hall.

On September 26th, Russell Simmons will introduce his one-hour syndicated show called "Oneworld Music Beat" which is expected to be similar in style and substance to his "Oneworld" music magazine. Models Veronica Webb and Kimora Lee are among the hosts of taped segments featuring exclusive celebrity interviews, urban fashion reviews, and weekly round table discussions to focus on the hip-hop entertainment industry, urban social life & much more.
