The Return of Casablanca Record & Filmworks

It's kind of funny how certain words in a Mountain Brothers review can come to life in a matter. In the very beginning of that review I said "..if the label Casablanca Record & FilmWorks of itself were still around today, Neil Bogart still being alive and well, appreciative and open to Hip-Hop, this debut album (Self, Volume 1 [PimpStrut, 1998/1999]) from Philadelphia natives The Mountain Brothers would be perfect for it." Well, how about 9 out of 10, because, unfortunately, we can't bring back the dead (unless the next five years tells us something otherwise in cryogenics). It seems that another young devoted mind has decided to take a music industry dream to the next level. Casablanca Record & FilmWorks is back once again! Yes, you read correctly. Casablanca, the INDEPENDENT label, has returned to reign!
