Rapper Eminem signs up Lennox Lewis' trainer DHB Report (July 13, 2004) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rapper Eminem has teamed up with retired boxing champ Lennox Lewis former trainer Emanuel Steward.
It has been reported that Steward has been working with Eminem at the rapper's Detroit, Michigan home, where he has a boxing gym in his garage.
Steward quoted in the media says: "I put him through his paces and I was amazed that he was as good as he was. Since then, he's trained regularly and I've put him in the ring with some top-notch sparring partners. He's improved enormously. He's aggressive - a real slugger… He moves a lot like Muhammad Ali."
XFM.co.uk. is reporting that Eminem is said to be in training for an upcoming Movie playing the part of undefeated 22-year-old Ukranian-born Jewish boxer Dmitry Salita.
