Updated June 25, 2006 -- So how do you top the surprise Fugees reunion that took place at last year's BET Awards? You bring out the big guns. Superstar performers Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Prince will take to the stage when the BET Awards '06 telecast airs live this Tuesday, June 27 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT (tape-delays in the Mountain and Pacific Time zones).

Other hot entertainers on tap to hit the stage that night at Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium are Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Keyshia Cole, Mary Mary and Lil' Wayne. Previously announced performers include Mary J. Blige and T.I. As usual, viewers can be sure to expect a night filled with surprise performances and appearances by some of music's biggest and brightest stars.

What better way to kick off BET's 6th annual awards show than with an opening performance from Beyonce? The multi-talented beauty is set to get the party started, and if this year's performance is anything like her performances in years past, then the viewing audience can expect a sexy, show-stopping performance like no other.

While Beyonce is sure to make it hot for the fellas in the audience, Jamie Foxx will be on hand to heat things up for the ladies with his own live performance. Singing hits from his chart-topping debut album, Unpredictable, the comedian-turned actor-turned-recording artist promises to leave the audience begging for more.

Perhaps the hottest performance of the night, however, will take place when Prince hits the stage to cap off the night's festivities. Saving the best for last, the legendary artist, producer and actor will make his BET Awards debut this year, blessing fans with what is sure to be an electrifying performance. While he may have changed monikers over the years, his live performances have consistently reminded music fans of why he is considered one of the best.

Star power will be in abundance in every aspect of the BET Awards '06. Multi-faceted entertainment mogul Diddy and hip hop legend Snoop Dogg are set to present. Also, celebrities such as Rihanna, Shawn and Marlon Wayans, NFL first-round draft pick Vince Young and Steve Harvey will be on hand to help BET honor the best in music, film and sports. Others expected to be in attendance that night are 2006 NBA Champion and MVP Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat, Ice Cube, Jagged Edge, Danny Glover, Cash Money's CEO Baby, David Banner, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Mo'Nique, Yung Joc, Eric Benet, Common, Taraji Henson, Kindred, Laila Ali and many more.

Also as previously announced, viewers should be sure to tune in when Chaka Khan accepts this year's BET Lifetime Achievement Award, while Harry Belafonte is the recipient of this year's BET Humanitarian Award. With such a star-studded line-up, the BET Awards '06 is definitely an event that you don't want to miss!
