New Public Enemy album in February

Public Enemy will release a new album in February that will include four remixes made by fans. Last summer, Chuck D allowed fans to download some capella tracks from his website and invited fans to remix the tracks for inclusion on the upcoming album. The winners will receive co-songwriting credit and royalties from the sale of the new album. According to Chuck the a capellas were downloaded 11,000 times and that 450 remixes were done. In addition to the remixes, a new song will also be included on the album. Chuck D plans to make more a capellas available for remixing on www.slamjamz.com in December.
