Nas: Apologies All Around The Jay Z VS Nas beef went one step further this summer when Nas backed out of a scheduled headlining performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam because the station wouldn't let him stage a lynching of Jay Z on stage. This was to be a response to last year's show when Jay-Z dissed Nas on stage during his own show. Upset by the censorship, Nas went on a competing Radio stations and blasted Hot 97 and it's popular DJ, Angie Martinez. As Martinez told MuchNews this week, Nas recently called the DJ/singer and apologized for his behaviour. Now Nas seems to be prepared spread the joy even further. In a radio interview with Hot 97 on Thursday, Nas said that his recent beefs were just due to miscommunication. In regards to his ongoing feud with Jay-Z, Nas said he's ready to rectify it. "We had the greatest battle that hip hop has ever seen - and we should be happy with that," said Nas. "Now it's time to move on." The rapper continues to offer apologies to Nelly, Nore and Cam'ron.
