Murder at Mac Dre's Memorial

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed while attending a memorial for Mac Dre.
Police identified the victim as Michael Banks and said he was among some 150 people who gathered to remember Andre Hicks (Mac Dre) who was shot to death in Kansas City on November 1, 2004.
Police received a call at 8:35 p.m. of multiple gunshots being fired in the area. Officers arrived to find people running in different directions and Banks lying in the street. He was taken to Kaiser-Permanente Medical Center where he was pronounced DOA.
There are no suspects in the shooting.
