Kobe Bryant Brings Hip-Hop Stars Together

Even though he was dropped by Columbia Records, Kobe Bryant still wants to do his thing in the Hip-Hop industry. Kobe's label, Heads High Entertainment, which he started with Jerrod Washington are planning to release and all star single called "Cherish". The single, a remake of Kool and The Gang's hit, will feature Nas, Gangsta Boo, Mia X, Ludacris, Next, Layzie Bone, Shaq with Sisqo and 112 close to confirming. Kobe will also appear on the track but not as a rapper, he will be reciting violence related statistics.
Proceeds from the single will got to the Cherish Foundation which distributes funds to victims of school violence and their families to help pay for funerals and counseling. The track is scheduled for recording in May with a video to follow soon after. The video and single should hit stores sometime in September.
