Juvenile a Child Support Delinquent

It seems Juvenile's a bit delinquent.

Georgia police have issued a warrant for the New Orleans rapper's arrest on charges of child abandonment, stemming from his alleged failure to pay child support for his six-month old daughter.

Paternity tests reportedly prove that the hip-hopster is the baby's father; however, Juvenile (real name: Terius Gray) has disputed the test results.

The rapper's lawyers have denied that their client is a deadbeat dad, reiterating their stance that Juvenile is not the father of the child in question.

Police reportedly obtained the arrest warrant back in November and claim to have merely been waiting for an opportune moment to take the rapper into custody.

It's not Juvenile's first run-in with Johnny Law.

The rapper--the most prominent member of Louisiana's Cash Money collective--first exploded onto the scene with his 1999 hit dance track, "Back That Azz Up."

In years following, Juve ran into numerous legal snafus--including several misdemeanor charges for an incident involving his chasing several strippers down a street with an ice pick in 2000. He also pleaded guilty to battery charges after a Miami bar fight in 2001 and was sentenced to 75 hours of community service.

Earlier this year, the rapper was rung up on cocaine and marijuana possession charges after drugs were found in a car in which he was a passenger.

He was also accused of beating up a barber who he apparently believed had been bootlegging and selling copies of his music. The rapper and two buddies reportedly pummeled the barber and made off with $200 in cash.

In May, a New Orleans federal court ruled that the rapper was not guilty of swiping his signature hit from fellow rapper Jubilee, who had penned a suspiciously similar track titled "Back That Ass Up."
