Jay-Z to launch shoe and voting campaign in Miami

Monday, August 30, 2004, Jay-Z will appear from 4 pm-6 pm at Foot Locker located at 44 E. Flagler Street in Miami, FL to launch his new shoe, the S. Carter Basketball Mid by Rbk and remind citizens about the importance of voting through his "Voice Your Choice" movement.
At the suggestion of fellow voting supporter, Jada Pinkett- Smith, Jay-Z is getting involved in a voting campaign to capture the vote of America's youth. The "Voice Your Choice" program touts the importance of exercising the right to vote in this year's November 2nd presidential election. The program is being implemented with the help of Russell Simmons' Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and will officially launch nationwide on August 30th in participating Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports Stores.
