Panelists include Dre Allen, producer for Babyface and Master P, who signed with 10 record labels, only to see the projects dropped before release; Dawn Robinson, a member of platinum-selling Atlantic recording artists En Vogue; Bryan Sheffield, label manager of Doghouse Records (All-American Rejects, Limbeck); Graham Macrae, coowner of Sealevel Records (Kennedy, Vanderslice); Ian Faith, founder of Sarinjay Entertainment (Boo-Yaa Tribe); and Bob Biggs, head of the newly-revived Slash/Massive Records. (Los Lobos, Violent Femmes).
FILM: "Beef," a definitive look at the deep and harsh world of high profile "beefs" among such artists as Jay-Z, Nas, 50 Cent, Ja Rule, DMX and others. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Peter Spirer and producer Quincy Jones III.
