C-Murder Bond Revoked after Witness Threats

After being locked up in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center for the past few months, Judge Martha Sassone has revoked C-Murder $2 million bond. Apparently, C-Murder was caught with a cell phone while in prison, making phone calls to have his friends harm witnesses involved with his 2nd degree murder trial. According to reports, two deputies smuggled the phone into the jailed rapper, and were fired after they were linked to it. Prosecutor Doug Freese told Judge Sassone about the incident, claiming that C-Murder made the calls to friends to have them "harm or influence witnesses."
C-Murder was arrested in January in connection with a shooting that occurred at the Platinum Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and killed 16 year old Steve Thomas. C-Murder maintains his innocence claiming to have been at the club that evening but was not involved in the shooting in any way. His lawyer, Ronald Rakosky, said that there is no evidence that his client made any calls. A trial date has yet to be set.
