Interview Excerpts

#How would you describe Glory's style. A cerebral type of Hip Hop?

I think that it is roughneck cerebral, his lyrics are deep with a very tough edge to it. On the multiple tracks that we are putting on the demo he flips his style. His lyrics are definitely deep but his style is pretty sharp edged. I would say that lyrically he is pretty versatile.

#What are you going to do to differentiate yourselves from other labels?

One thing that I firmly believe in is self-promotion in terms of the label, branding the label as much as the artist. This does two things. It adds a sense of legitimacy to your artist and also allows other artists to come to you. When we concentrate our efforts on promoting them we will promote ourselves as well. As far as setting ourselves apart from them, when we do get down to signing an artist, we try to be as versatile as possible and really go for a bunch of different types of artists, as opposed to staying strictly with roughnecks or people who are more into spoken word poetry. I really want to branch out as much as possible
